Quick-setting cement mortar for patching water leaks

DESCRIPTION

Poly Plug is a rapid-setting, cementitious repair mortar specifically formulated for the immediate patching and sealing of active water leaks in concrete structures.

It requires only the addition of clean water and demonstrates excellent adhesion to damp concrete substrates, ensuring quick and reliable performance in emergency waterproofing applications.

SCOPE OF USE

Basement walls – Water tanks – Swimming pools – Tunnels – Dams – Underground structures

Components

powder-based component , packaged in paper bags.

Instruction of use

1. All substrate should be clean and free lose material and contamination. All areas to be patched should be cut back to a minimum depth of 15mm. Leaking cracks should be chased out to a depth of 20mm. 15mm.

2. Add one-part clean water to three parts of Poly Plug Powder

3. Using an electric mixer and at a very slow speed keep mixing until the mixture becomes like a dough or a stiff mixture.

4. Apply poly plug on the area of leakage generously and hold down for 30 seconds. Keep applying the poly plug and even out the surface using a knife. using a trowel

5. Wait for the Poly Plug to set and fully dry for the next 24 hours make sure you don’t touch or damage the surface

Storage

Original sealed container has a shelf life of 12 months provided it is stored clear of ground and moisture and in a dry shaded place around 25°C.
