Acrylic waterproofing and UV protection for roofs

DESCRIPTION

semi-fluid acrylic-based waterproof coating enhanced with flexible polymer materials.
When applied in a thick layer, it forms a seamless and elastic membrane that accommodates surface movements caused by thermal expansion and contraction.
It provides long-lasting durability, excellent flexibility, and strong resistance to UV rays and harsh weather conditions, making it ideal for pitched roofs and building facades.

SCOPE OF USE

Residential roofs – Commercial rooftops – Balconies – Terraces – Green roofs – Sun-exposed areas

Components

Single-component , liquid Based Component , packaged in plastic barrel

Instruction of use

1- The surface should be sound, clean, free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt, curing compound, etc.
2- Mix the product with a spatula or a slow speed drill to recover its homogeneity. Apply the first with a brush, roller or an appropriate utility gun.
a. For plastic, galvanized or zinc roofs: apply one coat at 1–2kg/m2
b. For concrete roofs, asbestos roofings or bituminous roofs: Apply one coat of Poly Roofcoat diluted with 5% of water as a primer.
3- Leave the first coat to dry for 4 hours.
4- Apply the second coat in the opposite direction. Then after 8 hours at 20 C apply a second coat of undiluted ROOFCOAT @1to1.5kgm2.
Leave it to dry for 24 hours.

1. Tensile Adhesion strength 1.5 N/mm2 after 28 days
2. Elongation at break 220% 3. Mortar Density 1.35 kg/liter

Storage

Original sealed container has a shelf life of 12 months provided it is stored clear of ground and moisture and in a dry shaded place around 25°C.

Roofcoat is a semifluid acrylic with polymer resins. Once applied in a thick coat, it provides a flexible waterproof membrane for pitched roofs and facades allowing the product to follow the expansion and tension cycles of the substrates in addition and durable coating which is resistant to UV and other weathering agents.
