Polywed Putty

Powder putty specifically used for repairing, leveling, and smoothing surfaces before paint

DESCRIPTION

A single-component, polymer-modified, fiber-reinforced repair mortar formulated with fine fillers, bonding agents, and high-performance additives. Designed for use over plastered masonry surfaces such as concrete blocks or bricks, it functions as a skim coat to correct surface irregularities and undulations. Provides a smooth, level finish ideal for the application of paints and decorative coatings, ensuring optimal surface preparation and long-term aesthetic durability.

Wall smoothing – Ceiling finishing – Joint treatment – Crack repair – Surface leveling – Paint preparation

Components

Single-component, cement-based dry powder formulation, packaged in paper bags.

Instruction of use

1. The surface should be sound, clean, free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt, curing compound, etc.
2. Add 12.5 liter of clean water on 25kg of powder-based putty and 0.75 liter of clean water for every 1.5kg of powder-based putty
3. Mix with a mechanical plaster mixer or low-speed electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle for 3-4 minutes, until a uniform
4. Leave it to sit for 10 min and please note that Mixed material must be used within 3 hours. Do not add water once the mixed filler mortar starts to stiffen or harden.
5. Spread the putty using a putty knife and make sure the surface is even. Leave to dry for 3 hours to fully set.

Storage

Original sealed container has a shelf life of 12 months provided it is stored clear of ground and moisture and in a dry shaded place around 25°C.
