Poly Bitumen is a solvent-free paste consisting of selected water-emulsified bitumen’s, special fine-graded aggregates and admixtures, manufactured according to a formula developed by Polywed’s Saudi Research & development laboratories.

1. Waterproofing foundations and bearing walls in addition to cold waterproofing of masonry, or concrete.
2. Waterproofing flat or curved surfaces on structures below ground level, such as man-made tunnels and underpasses.
3. Waterproofing horizontal concrete structures below screeds isolated with PE sheets.

1 Liquid Based Component

1- The surface should be sound, clean, free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt, curing compound, etc.
2- All holes should be filled with a suitable cementitious mortar before application.
3- Mix the product well with an electronic mixer for 3 min until the mixture is homogenous.
4- Apply the first coat using a roll or brush and wait 3 hours for the coat to set.
5- After the first coat has set, apply the second coat using a roll or brush in the opposite direction and leave it for four hours to set. The second coat should be applied at a right angle to the first coat. Allow a minimum of 3 hours between coats.

Over coating time: 2 hours

This original sealed container has a shelf life of 12 months provided it is stored clear of ground in a dry shaded place below 25°C.
