Polywed’s Vision of Female Empowerment in the Construction Sector

The empowerment of Saudi Arabian women is at the heart of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 reform program, with far-reaching social and economic goals including increasing women’s economic participation rate from 17 percent to 25 percent this year. Rising numbers of Saudi businesswomen have started entering the male-dominated construction industry, according to recent data. The Saudi Contractors’ Authority (SCA) has claimed that about 152,000 Saudi women work in the Kingdom’s construction and contracting sector. We are proud to be a company in the construction industry sector who offer women the chance to prove that men and women are equal, and that nothing a man can do, a woman can’t. We focus on building a team and a family that’s diverse and accepts all genders, religions, and ethnicities.

 

 

We are proud to announce our new Saudi female management representatives in Polywed. Our company highly values diversity, inclusivity, and equality among its staff and continuously strives to uphold these values. One of the many steps taken by Polywed to achieve such a company culture was recruiting females in positions of upper management, such as HR, Marketing, Public Relations, Production, and Finance. Since females are underrepresented in the construction industry, Polywed strives to break that pattern by empowering our female leaders and giving them a chance to prove that they are capable of anything.
