Polywed Constructions was founded in 1996 by Omar Ali Al Marbae and his brother Fahad Ali Al Marbae. The company started as a humble manufacturer and supplier of tiles adhesives. Today we pride ourselves with a diverse product portfolio of 60 different products and unmatched technical experience in the construction industry spanning over nine countries around the Middle East and Africa.
On July the 7th 2013, Dr. Zidan Elsayed acquired polywed construction chemicals from the Marbae brothers and offcialy became the majority shareholder of the company. With Dr. Zidan's hands-on management approach, his educational background in biomedical engineering, in addition to over 35 years of experience in management consulting and corporate restructuring, the company was immediately transformed into the manfacturing powerhouse it is today. Under his leadership Polywed construction chemicals expanded its horizons overseas to become an international company.
On January oct the 15th 2019, Rabeh Zidan joined as managing partner. Rabeh Zidan Holds a masters Degree in International Business Management from the European Business School of Paris in addition a second Masters in Luxury Brand Management from the University of Monaco in Monte Carlo. Three years later on Nov the 3rd 2022 Rawan Zidan joined Polywed as Vice President of the company with an MBA from Effat university and background and over 10 years of experience in finance and banking

As of March the 25th 2017, The progressive centre company has implemented a corporate social responsibility strategy dedicated to supplying; construction products, solutions, and safety equipment around the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
