Water based bitumen protective coating.

DESCRIPTION

A concentrated and highly effective water-based water repellent, specifically formulated for treating exterior surfaces such as masonry, brick, concrete, and both natural and reconstituted stone.

It provides long-lasting protection against penetrating damp by forming a deep barrier while maintaining the breathability of the substrate.

Based on advanced silane and siloxane technology, the product is fast-acting, deeply penetrating, and allows treated surfaces to "breathe" without trapping moisture.

Instruction of use

1. The surface should be sound, clean, free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt, curing compound, etc. and ensure the surface to be treated is generously wet

2. Mix well for 2 minutes, a longer mixing time will thoroughly distribute the product within the overall system, which in turn will make it highly effective.

3. We recommend testing compatibility with other concrete admixtures separately. Apply the ready-to-use solution in the usual way; flooding is the preferred way. Apply second coat immediately in the opposite direction. do not wait until the product is dry. Two “wet on wet” coats are needed to ensure complete coverage. If it starts to rain, stop treatment and cover the impregnated areas.

4. Processing as a Concrete Admixture (Water Resisting Admixture): The recommended admixture range of a 1: 4. Polyweds Water repellent is 1.0 % to 5.0 % of the cement content. A significant reduction in water uptake can already be achieved at a concentration of 1.0 % of the cement.

5. Wait for the product to set for 4 hours and make sure it does come in contact with water through the drying process

Storage

Original sealed container has a shelf life of 12 months provided it is stored clear of ground and moisture and in a dry shaded place around 25°C.
